This internship opportunity is for RMDS Lab’s global conference IM Data. IM Data is a hybrid event with the in person part located in Pasadena, California and is RMDS Lab’s 3rd annual conference. This event is for the brightest industry professionals, in numerous data science and technical fields, to talk about innovative methods in data science, machine learning and AI. IM Data is an annual, international, two-day, multi-track conference for data scientists, machine learning engineers, analysts, data science managers and C-level decision makers.The intern will observe and assist with RMDS Lab’s annual conference IM Data plus various projects assigned by the CEO and events coordinator. General responsibilities may include: Work with the CEO and Event Coordinator to coordinate event logistics. Event planning, promotion, and on-site execution including design, set up, and tear down. Maintain up-to-date event documents including site-schedule forms and action plans. To procure and organize supplies for events . Position will shadow marketing department staff, offer input into projects, will be invited to meetings, and may be asked to assist other departments. We are looking for individuals who want to gain experience in all aspects of the event planning process and running a business. Event Planning and Production

  • Assist in all aspects of planning hybrid events, working with clients, event coordination, securing a venue and execution.
  • Assist in creating event collateral, and outreach through media and social media channels, and email blasts.

As a Programs Management Intern, you will work closely with RMDS’ Event Coordination and Business Development & Sales Teams, building connections and overseeing data science event logistics.
