Dr. Alex Liu is an innovation leader in data science and AI. He is known for his work on big data analytics and machine learning as applied to business and social research, and currently serves as the president of the Global Association for Research Methods and Data Science, a director of the RMDS Lab as well as a director of IDP. Dr. Liu is a thought leader on data science as certified by IBM and a distinguished data scientist as certified by the Open Group. He serves as an advisor to the Harvard University Data Science Review magazine, and is a pioneer of ecosystem approaches for data science and AI. His publications include Transforming Health Care with BIg Data and AI by Information Age Publishing, Apache Spark Machine Learning Blueprints by Packt Publishing, Structural Equation Modeling and Latent Variable Approaches by Wiley. Alex has a Ph.D. and M.S. from Stanford University.
